Passbeam

Which way should I get server certificates: the IIS script, ACME or by hand?

Passbeam can put a certificate on your internal servers three ways. Two of them renew on their own. Pick by what the server is.

The three ways
WayUse it forRenews itself
IIS scriptWindows servers running IIS. One command from Passbeam, nothing to install.Yes
ACMELinux (certbot, acme.sh), Caddy, Traefik, and Windows with win-acme. Anything that already speaks ACME.Yes
By handPrinters, NAS boxes, firewalls and other kit where you can only upload a file.No. Passbeam emails you 30 and 7 days before it expires.

If you're not sure, use the IIS script on Windows and certbot on Linux.

Whichever way you pick, Passbeam only signs names inside the domains you've registered for that client, under Server certificates, then Domains. Register those first.

They all end up in the same list under Server certificates, one row per server. Click a row to see its certificates, give it a friendlier name, or stop it.
