Do I need to run a RADIUS server?
No. Passbeam is the RADIUS server. There's nothing to install at the client's site, no server to patch and no certificate authority to build or back up.
With RADSec, the site's equipment opens a connection out to Passbeam and keeps it open, so there's no port to forward. With standard RADIUS, the equipment sends its requests to our published addresses. Either way, the only thing at the site is the equipment the client already has.
